Ben Friberg, Chattanooga-based guitarist and band leader spent his first years honing his craft in the University of Tennessee's Jazz Performance Program, under the guidance of Mark Boling. Upon returning to Chattanooga, Ben quickly adopted bassist Dave Schwab, also having returned to Chattanooga from New Orleans 1 day prior to Katrina's landfall. After 500+ performances to date Ben has performed at virtually every music venue in the Chattanooga area as well as the region's big music festivals. Ben continues his pursuit of music under guidance of masters Peter Mazza and Lage Lund.
In addition to music Ben enjoys spending time paddling, exploring, etc. the great outdoors.
